Réquel Lopes earned her graduate degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the prestigious AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. She is certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification and Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed in both Florida and Texas.
As a board certified licensed acupuncture physician, she specializes in an integrative approach to care that best addresses her patient's needs. This comprehensive approach may include acupuncture, cupping, electro-acupuncture, herbal formulations as well as lifestyle counseling to restore balance and promote optimal health for the body, mind, and spirit. Known for her gentle needling style, she utilizes her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Esoteric Acupuncture (Sankey Acupuncture), Master Tung Style, and Scalp Acupuncture in her treatments.
In addition to being a board certified acupuncture physician, she is FMCSA certified medical examiner. This enables her to perform certified medical examination for those drivers with a commercial driver's license (CDL) looking to renew their medical examination certificate.
Réquel is passionate about helping her patients. She is successful because she listens and empowers each to reach their goals. Her own personal struggles with health have taught her to be compassionate because she has been in many of her patient's shoes.
She helps with various health conditions that include but not limited to stress management, headaches, women's health, mental/emotional issues, fatigue, fertility issues of men and women, pain management.
