Before you finally lay on the acupuncture bed/table, your acupuncturist will first do a comprehensive assessment. During your session at the Acupuncture and Wellness Center of Florida (AWCOF), the acupuncturist will identify your acu-points. Once the acu-points are identified, the acupuncture needles will then be placed. The needles that are used in acupuncture are as thin as the cat's whiskers. They are solid but extremely flexible so they do not hurt once your acupuncturist will place them on the identified points.
