Cupping Parkland Therapy Procedure

The most common site in doing cupping Parkland therapy is always at the back, on the meridians on both sides of the spine. In the usual cupping therapy procedure, the individual is asked to lie with face facing down. The back is then bared and cleaned. The therapist would then light up the material used inside the glass cup. Once the heat is coming out, the glass cup will then be placed upside down on the back of the patient.

As the air cools inside the glass cup, it then begins to create vacuum or suction. As a result, the blood vessels under the skin become bigger. During this period, the area where suction is created becomes reddish and elevated. But Acupuncture and Wellness Center of Florida expert therapists assure patients that these are not burns or bruises but rather, normal effects of the therapy.
