Statistics show that stress increases during the winter Holidays. The added responsibilities and commitments can create a demanding schedule. This leads to a compromised lifestyle with poor eating and sleeping habits. Healthy food choices take a back seat to favorite holiday goodies at work, parties, and family gatherings. Longer days with less down time infringe on sleep. After a short time the body starts to weaken, leaving a persontired, irritable, and more susceptible to colds or flu.
